Inside The Housing
The Backbox version of HIGHWIRE Powerstar is designed to fit inside a camera housing or backbox. It is powered by POE over coax and includes leads and connectors to link to the legacy coax and the IP camera itself. Like all Powerstar units, it includes SAFEVIEW status and power level indicators.

HIGHWIRE Powerstar (Base) connects to HIGHWIRE Powerstar Backbox over legacy coax cabling to deliver full bandwidth Ethernet and up to 25W POE for maximum reliability with minimal recabling. The Base unit may be powered by POE or directly by a 57V DC PSU for maximum POE delivery.
