The CHERRY KC 500 MX LP is one of our first office keyboards with the new mechanical CHERRY MX LP 2.0 switches, which enable an extra low height, a super-soft keystroke as well as absolute switching reliability. The new switches are covered by our in-house abrasion-resistant, high-end PBT key caps. The wired, low-profile keyboard features stable folding feet for tilt adjustment, an anodized metal surface and tasteful white lighting. The mechanical office keyboard is also available in two versions: As KC 500 MX LP in full-size layout or as KC 500 MX LP TKL in compact tenkeyless format without numeric keypad.
Mechanical low-profile keyboard in a slim design Welcome to the age of slim mechanical keyboards: The CHERRY KC 500 MX LP introduces our first keyboard series with the new CHERRY MX LP 2.0 switches, which are characterized by a super-soft actuation, absolute switching reliability and an unbelievably long service life. The in-house, abrasion-resistant PBT key caps are also brand new. The low-profile keyboard also has sturdy fold-out feet for tilt adjustment, an anodized metal surface and tasteful white lighting. In addition, the mechanical keyboard with low-profile switches is available in two versions: As KC 500 MX LP in full-size layout or as KC 500 MX LP TKL in compact tenkeyless format without numeric keypad.
Timeless design at very low height Just 19.1 mm at the front and less than 22 mm at the rear: The CHERRY KC 500 MX LP impresses above all with its extra low height. In combination with the anodized metal plate and other metallic accents in the background, the result is a timeless, elegant design that is certain to impress and offers maximum stability.
The mechanical low-profile keyboard not only looks good on the outside, but also shines with practical features: With the fold-out feet you can adjust the angle of inclination of the keyboard in a few seconds, while the high-quality USB-A to USB-C cable can be easily disconnected for safe transport.
CHERRY MX LOW PROFILE 2.0 switches The new low-profile switches are the heart of the CHERRY KC 500 MX LP. The mechanical keyboard can thus offer a super-soft actuation, absolute switching reliability and an incredibly long service life. Added to this is a redesigned feel and improved sound, which marks the start of a new generation of slim mechanical keyboards with this CHERRY MX low-profile keyboard. Thanks to the Full-N-Key rollover, all keys are read simultaneously and no input is lost, regardless of how many keys you press at the same time. Incorrect inputs are also avoided by anti-ghosting.
Equipped with high-end PBT key caps Another new feature that awaits you with the KC 500 MX LP is our in-house button caps made of PBT. The symbols on the keyboard are sprayed directly via plastic injection during manufacture, which makes the key caps absolutely abrasion-proof and durable. The material used also ensures a subtle, dampened sound when typing and is pleasantly quiet.
Classy background lighting The understated white backlight means you can type easily even in low light. You can also dim the lighting in ten levels or switch it off completely. Even better: The low-profile keyboard also has additional red status LEDs under the CAPS LOCK, SCROLL, NUM, WIN and FN keys. This allows you to see which toggle keys are activated at a glance.
