This 3-port HDMI switch allows you to conveniently switch between three HDMI source devices on a single HDMI-enabled display supporting high definition video up to a 1080p resolution. In situations where a display does not have enough HDMI inputs to accommodate up to three source devices, this switch provides additional high-definition digital inputs and is compatible with HDMI-equipped devices such as Blu-ray and DVD players, high-definition satellite boxes and gaming consoles, including Sony PlayStation 4 (PS4) and Xbox ONE. The auto-switching functionality detects when a new device is connected or powered on and will automatically switch to that port. When the device in use is disconnected or powered off, it will switch to the device that was connected first. Alternatively, manual-switching functionality is available for situations where more control is desired – simply use the select button on top of the switch to switch between the three inputs. The power required for operation of this switch is provided from the HDMI source devices, so no separate power adapter is required.
