The Liebert CRV unit can operate as standard down to -15°C outdoor temperature. If you need to install the unit in area where outdoor temperature is expected to drop below -15°C, it is necessary to add this Low Ambient kit. This kit needs to be installed close to the outdoor condenser according to the instructions in the user manual and will extend the unit operation down to -20°C outdoor temperature.
