1 Rack temperature sensor is shipped with each CRV unit as standard. If you would like to monitor the temperature of more racks, you can order these additional sensors. You can connect up to 10 sensors to each CRV DX unit or up to 6 sensors to each CRV Chilled Water unit. Note that Modbus cable for connecting the sensors to the unit (Vertiv PN: 274131) is not included and needs to be ordered separately.
The Vertiv Liebert 277072 Rack Temperature Sensor helps your Vertiv Liebert CRV 10kW monitor the temperature inside your server rack. This sensor can help improve unit efficiency since it tells your row-based cooling unit how much cooling and airflow the rack needs in real time. Each CRV server rack cooling unit is already shipped with one rack temperature sensor, though you can connect 10 racks to each CRV unit if you purchase additional sensors. Note: The Modbus cable (Vertiv Liebert SCBL10CR) used to connect the sensors to the unit is not included and must be purchased separately.
